The best design was 3.358101% by Dutch Power Cows's [DPC]Team Boonanza~woolysheep
A minor error in the backstop (the orange piece in the video to the left of the rod on the videos) was a good excuse to bring out a corrected lattice. A new version of the client, v4.44 meant it was a good idea to hasten the spread of the client, by requiring it. The advantage being, Eb1a would be able to verify the previous lattice's work, and hopefully make things more accurate.
The majority of the changes to the v4.44 client were to make things more appealing to run on laptops and mobile computing platforms, with the power and cooling limitations of the platform taken into account. In addition, the graphics, commandline and background modes have had their working files (queues, autosave) files split to avoid any issues when running different versions.
The search space is in the 10153 range with 51 parameters. The lattice showed a single-stage growth pattern (with results still coming in as recently as 2 hours before this was published)
This is the 'best' design as recreated in v4.45. The original simulation length as recorded was 13 minutes 39 seconds.
