DecayRotA is another 'tweak' design. It takes the parameters of DecayRot, and modifies them, to see what kind of changes happen when you extend the phase rotation array..

The best design was 0.398293% from Meep of team Free-DC.org.


One of the variables in DecayRot was the length of the phase rotation system. It could vary from 20 to 40 units. While yields were down on it over PhaseRotC, the phase rotation system also veered towards the 20-unit minimum. So, DecayRotA attempted to investigate the other end by fixing the number at 40.

The search space is in the 10⁶⁶³ range with 221 parameters. The lattice showed a single-stage growth pattern.

This is the 'best' design as recreated in v4.45. Some modification to the lattice was needed to add a backend, as earlier clients had this hard-coded. The original simulation length as recorded was 3 minutes 28 seconds.
